65 cm (25.5") 6 String Guitar

This is a 65 cm scale length 6-string guitar based on the Apocalypto body style. This guitar is currently in work. There will be two EMG dual coil pickups which can be switched to single coil.

The pictures do not do justice to oak. Quarter-Sawn oak produces an intensely deep iridescent tiger-eye effect.

Front and back views showing sandwich construction (book-matched oak tiger eye top and back, maple accent stripes, walnut core). The neck is in near finished form. The head is sandwiched with 1/16 inch ebony veneer (matching the fingerboard ebony) with the Paian Instruments logo in marquetry. The fret board, in ebony, has a zero fret plus 24 frets. It is still waiting for radius and fretting.
