Standards and Measurements

Why Metric?

When I was in elementary school (a long time ago), my math teachers told me how the U.S.A. would soon be converting over to the metric system.  Therefore, we had to learn to use this 'new' system in order to conform to the standards used by science, engineering, and the rest of the world in general.

While the U.S.A. has never really made the conversion to the metric system, I have chosen to do my part in using the metric system over the 'english' system.  I will provide 'english' system equivalents where appropriate.
